Akupanels are designed for DIY installation. Most walls take an afternoon with a saw, a screwdriver and a tape measure. Pick the guide that matches your project. Each one lists the tools you need and walks through every step with a video.

Choose your guide

• Standard wall installation: fix Akupanels straight onto a flat wall with screws or mounting glue. Start here for feature walls, TV walls and headboards.
• Ceiling installation: mount panels overhead on battens, spaced about 40cm apart.
• Installation with mineral wool: add mineral wool behind the panels on studs for extra sound absorption in home cinemas, offices and music rooms.
• Garage door installation: clad a garage door for a flush, seamless facade.

What you will need
