R570 (Classic Oak Black Felt) to R850 (Black Ash and Rustic Smoked Oak), or about R1,583 to R2,361 per m². Walnut is R680 and Rustic Natural Oak is R745.

Why do some finishes cost more?
Price follows the material on the face of the slat. Wrapped panels use a wood-textured foil, which is the most affordable. Classic Oak, Walnut and Black Ash use real wood veneer. Rustic finishes use veneer that keeps knots, cracks and strong grain, which takes more selection and costs more. If you want real wood on a budget, Classic Oak with black felt is the lowest-priced real veneer.
Worked example: what does a feature wall cost?
Each panel is 600mm wide, so divide your wall width by 0.6m and round up to get the number of panels.
A 3.6m wide × 2.4m high TV wall (8.64 m²) needs 6 × Akupanel 240:
- Wrapped English Oak: 6 × R1,850 = R11,100
- Classic Oak, Grey Felt: 6 × R2,350 = R14,100
- Rustic Smoked Oak: 6 × R3,195 = R19,170
Then add:
- Finishing slats for the exposed edges.
- Mounting glue or screws suited to your wall.
- Delivery, calculated at checkout by location and weight, or collect free from our Riversands warehouse in Johannesburg.

How much does installation cost?
Installation is quoted per project because it depends on wall size, height, wall type, cut-outs for plugs or TV mounts, and location. Send us your measurements and a photo through our quote form and our team replies within 48 hours. Is it cheaper per m² to use bigger panels?
Usually, yes. In the same finish, a 240cm or 300cm panel costs less per square metre than 60cm squares or 120cm half panels. Choose small panels for the look (a pattern wall or headboard), and large panels when you are covering a full wall.
How do I avoid paying for the wrong finish?
Order A4 samples first. Most samples are R95 (some colour finishes are R70), and seeing the real grain in your own light is the best protection against an expensive mistake.
