Headboard & Half-Wall Kit – Akupanel 120cm

Everything you need for a finished headboard, half wall or under-counter feature, in one go, and 5% less than buying each piece separately. Choose how many panels you need, from 2 to 10, and the 5% applies to the whole kit.

What’s in the kit

• 2 to 10 × Akupanel 120cm in your chosen finish (1200 × 600 mm each; each panel adds about 60 cm of width)
• 2 × 22mm Finishing Slats (2400 mm) in the matching finish: one runs along the top, and the other cuts in two to frame both sides
• 2 × Mounting Glue for a quick, no-drill install

How many panels do I need?

Divide the width by 60 cm and round up. A queen headboard (about 1.8 m) needs 3 panels and a king headboard (about 2.4 m) needs 4.

Finishing slats: the 2 slats frame a run up to about 2.4 m wide. For wider half walls (5 or more panels), add extra 22mm finishing slats for the top edge.

How much glue do I need?

Allow a quarter of a tube of glue per 120cm panel. The 2 tubes in the kit cover up to 8 panels. For 9 or 10 panels, add 1 extra tube of Mounting Glue (3 in total).

Tip: want a shelf-style ledge along the top instead? Add a 67mm finishing slat.

Please note: our 1.2m panels are custom cut to size. Minor variations of a few millimetres can occur, so allow for this tolerance when measuring and installing.

Our panels are for indoor use only and we do not recommend them in areas exposed to water or steam. Products labelled “Wrapped” use a high-quality wood-textured foil wrap rather than real wood veneer.
